I have three different sizes of spring form pans too and love them.  I have,
however, seen recommendations that you wrap the outside with aluminum foil.
I have one which is heart shaped.

I might try again at some point; we even had a sighted person check for us,
and at the time, he/she said it looked just fine, so who knows; another one
of life's old mysteries. I don't own one of thosee pans anymore.

        I've never had any problems with those pans.  You just have to make
sure that the clamps are on tight and that the bottom is snug against the
sides.  I use them all the time.  I have 3 sizes.
