Brad Paisley Tapped for Tonight Show

Brad Paisley will appear Wednesday (Aug. 1) on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno 
as part of the program's summer concert series. Paisley's performance of
his latest single, "Online," will be included in the telecast, but he will also 
perform his previous hit, "Ticks," for the audience gathered at the outdoor
stage at NBC's studios in Burbank, Calif. Following his performance, Paisley 
returns to the East Coast for concerts in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Florida.

Vince Gill, Sheryl Crow Visit Eric Clapton Festival

Vince Gill and Sheryl Crow are among more than a dozen major acts performing 
Saturday (July 28) at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago.
Hosted by comic-actor Bill Murray, the event at Toyota Park will also feature 
Alison Krauss & Union Station and Jerry Douglas. The festival raises money
for Crossroads Centre, a substance abuse treatment center Clapton founded on 
the Caribbean island of Antigua. Others performing Saturday include Jeff Beck,
Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Sonny Landreth, Albert Lee, John Mayer, John 
McLaughlin, Robbie Robertson, Hubert Sumlin, Johnny Winter and Steve Winwood.

Pat Green Honored by American Red Cross

Pat Green has been awarded a special Crystal Cross award from the American Red 
Cross for his service to the organization. He is a member of the organization's
national celebrity cabinet. Green began giving blood in college and has 
recorded public service announcements for the organization. "It meant a lot to
get this award from the Red Cross," he said. "Anything I can do to help the Red 
Cross promote blood donations -- especially during the summer -- is on
the top of my to-do list. Giving blood is giving the gift of life."

John Berry Plans New Single, CD

John Berry will release a new single, "A Woman Like You," on Aug. 20. The song 
was written by Tim Nichols and Craig Wiseman, who also wrote Tim McGraw's
"Live Like You Were Dying." Berry plans to release his album, Those Were the 
Days, in January on his own label, Clear Sky Records. Berry released several
hits on Capitol Nashville in the 1990s, including "Your Love Amazes Me," 
"Standing on the Edge of Goodbye" and "She's Taken a Shine."
