German Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
1 package of Pillsbury Plus German chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup of instant mashed potato flakes
1 teaspoon of cream of tartar 
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
3/4 cup of margarine, melted
1 egg
1/2 cup of chopped nuts
1/4 to 1/2 cu p of sugar
1 can chocolate or chocolate fudge frosting 
Heat oven to 350Ã,ºF. Combine all cookie ingredients except nut
and 
sugar; blend well. Stir in nuts. Let stand 5 minutes. Refrigerate 
several hours. Shape dough into balls and roll in sugar to coat. 
Place on un-greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart and flatten slightly 
with palm of hand. Bake at 350Ã,ºF. for 8 to 10 minutes. Frost
with 
chocolate or chocolate fudge frosting.
