Pace(r) Bean and Cheese Quesadillas Crisp, cheesy, spicy and satisfying all describe these easy-to-make snacks. Beans, Pace(r) Pic ante and shredded cheese are layered with onion in between tortillas and baked in a hot oven to a golden brown. Cut into wedges and serve with extra Pace(r) Pic ante Sauce. Prep. time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 15 minutes Serves: Makes 24 appetizers Source: Pace Recipes Ingredients 1 can (about 16 oz.) refried beans1/2 cup Pace(r) Pic ante Sauce12 8 inch flour tortillas1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese2 green onions, , sliced Directions MIX beans and picante sauce. PLACE tortillas on 2 baking sheets. Top each tortilla with about 1/3 cup bean mixture. Spread to within 1/2" of edge. Top with cheese and onions. Moisten edges of tortillas with water. Top with remaining tortillas. Press edges together. BAKE at 400°F. for 10 min. or until hot. Cut each quesadilla into 4 wedges. Serve with additional picante sauce. Makes 24 appetizers.
