Breakfast Sausage

1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 t. rubbed sage
2 t. salt
1/2 t. summer savory
1 t. crushed red pepper
1 1/2 t. marjoram
1/4 t. nutmeg
1/4 c. dry wine

Thoroughly mix all ingredients, using 
your hands to knead the spices well into 
the meat. Form into patties or rolls. 
Heat a heavy skillet. Cook sausage over 
low heat about 20 min., until well 
browned on both sides. Makes 8 
servings.
