CHEWY PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar

Cream together and beat in 1 egg. Stir in 3/4 cup flour. Mix well. Chill 10 
minutes. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork. Bake at 400 
degrees
approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
REMEMBER: If you bake too much of the moisture out of cookies after they've 
cooled, put them in an airtight container with a fresh piece of light bread.
Within hours the cookies will pull the moisture from the bread making them 
softer and leaving the bread hard as a rock!
