Kris Kristofferson, Shelby Lynne and the Rev. Jimmy Swaggart are scheduled to perform during a Nov. 10 concert honoring Jerry Lee Lewis, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced Friday (Sept. 21). The concert at Playhouse Square's State Theater in Cleveland is part of a six-day celebration sponsored by the Hall of Fame and Case Western Reserve University. It is part of their 12th annual American Music Masters series which includes panel discussions, film screenings and other educational programs. Lewis is the first living artist to be honored during the series. Swaggart, the evangelist who is Lewis' cousin, will play piano at the concert that will also feature Wanda Jackson, Cowboy Jack Clement, George Thorogood, Narvel Felts, Billy Lee Riley, Jason D. Williams, NRBQ's Terry Adams and Lewis' sister, Linda Gail Lewis. Rascal Flatts Plan TV Appearances Fri. September 21.2007 5:58 PM EDT Rascal Flatts will sing on Good Morning America and The Late Show With David Letterman on Tuesday (Sept. 25), the release date for their new CD, Still Feels Good. The band will also visit radio stations in several cities over the course of the week, with stops planned in Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Washington D.C. and Cleveland. ""I think lyrically this is the strongest album we've ever done," says lead vocalist Gary LeVox. "It's genuinely taken us to the next level. I think that in working with [producer] Dann Huff, the four of us have really got something special when it comes to capturing on CD what we do live." Marty Stuart Will Host Weekly XM Radio Show Fri. September 21.2007 5:58 PM EDT Marty Stuart will begin hosting an hour-long weekly show on XM Satellite Radio on Oct. 5. Airing on Fridays, Marty Stuart's American Odyssey will offer a range of American music, such as traditional country, blues, rockabilly, bluegrass, gospel and rock. "American Odyssey will be an amazing adventure inside the musical walls of our cities," Stuart said. "It's theater, and radio has always been great theater to me. ... This will be a journey through America with a big smile." Trace Adkins' New CD Due Dec. 4 Fri. September 21.2007 5:58 PM EDT Trace Adkins is scheduled to release a new CD on Dec. 4, although it's not yet finished, according to USA Today. He is working with producer Frank Rogers, who produced eight songs on Adkins' most recent album, Dangerous Man. The first single from the upcoming album is "I Got My Game On." In addition, Adkins will release a DVD, Greatest Video Hits, on Oct. 2. As previously reported, Adkins's first book, A Personal Stand: Opinions and Observations of a Free-Thinking Roughneck, will be in stores on Nov. 13.
