Marinated Turkey
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
2 garlic toes minced
6 to 7 pound turkey or turkey parts
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, oil, honey, ginger, mustard, lemon
juice, worcestershire sauce, and garlic. Place turkey or turkey parts in
a plastic heavy duty freezer bag. Add mixture in bowl to bag, so it can
marinade. close bag and refrigerate overnight turning the bag to mix
juice with the meat occasionally. The next day before cooking, arrange
turkey or turkey parts in a single shallow roasting pan. Rub on the salt
and pepper. Pour the marinade over the turkey. Bake at 325/o for 1-1/2
hours uncovered, or until turkey is tender. Baste to keep turkey moist,
4 times during this cooking process.
