Brisket
6 pounds briskets
3 tablespoons liquid smoke
small amount garlic power
small amount onion salt
small amount celery salt
small amount pepper
2 Tablespoons worcestershire sauce
Sprinkle brisket with liquid smoke, small amount of garlic powder, onion
salt, and celery salt. Wrap in foil and refrigerate overnight. Next day,
sprinkle with pepper and worcestershire sauce. Rewrap in foil. Bake 5
hours at 275/o. When cool , slice thin. Great sauce for this below.
Sauce for Brisket
1 cup catsup
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
2 cups water
2 tablespoons dry minced onion
1/4 cup vinegar
Mix all ingredients together and bring to a boil. Boil 15 minutes. Pour
over sliced brisket. This recipe is from a cousin, Mourine Galle and
very good
