LeAnn Rimes released a new album, Family, on Tuesday (Oct. 9) on Curb Records. The project includes her current single, "Nothin' Better to Do," as well as a duet with Reba McEntire on "When You Love Someone Like That." Rimes will perform music from the new album on The Today Show on Wednesday (Oct. 10), as well as The Late Show With David Letterman (Oct. 17), Live With Regis & Kelly (Oct. 18), Live From Abbey Road (Oct. 18 on the Sundance Channel) and Dancing With the Stars on Nov. 6. Before traveling to New York for her Today appearance, she taped an episode of CMT Crossroads with Joss Stone on Tuesday afternoon in Franklin, Tenn. Sara Evans Offers Greatest Hits Tue. October 09.2007 6:51 PM EDT Sara Evans released her Greatest Hits on Tuesday (Oct. 9) on RCA Nashville. The collection includes "As If" and three other new songs, as well as "Born to Fly," "Suds in the Bucket" and more. Evans will sing on Good Morning America and Hannity & Colmes on Wednesday (Oct. 10) and The View on Friday (Oct. 12). ... Performing a mix of classic songs and Daniels' own music, guests include Brad Paisley, the Del McCoury Band, Gretchen Wilson, Earl Scruggs (with sons Gary and Randy Scruggs), Bonnie Bramlett, Travis Tritt, Dolly Parton, Brooks & Dunn, Marty Stuart, Darius Rucker (Hootie & the Blowfish), Brenda Lee, Vince Gill and Montgomery Gentry. McGraw, Underwood, Flatts Get AMA Nominations Tue. October 09.2007 6:51 PM EDT Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts received two nominations each in the country category when the nominees for the 2007 American Music Awards were announced Tuesday (Oct. 9) in Los Angeles. Nominated for favorite album are McGraw's Let It Go, Rascal Flatts' Me and My Gang and Underwood's Some Hearts. McGraw, Toby Keith and Brad Paisley are nominated for favorite male country artist, and Underwood, Martina McBride and Taylor Swift received nominations for favorite female artist. Rascal Flatts, Big & Rich and Brooks & Dunn are in the running for favorite country band, duo or group. Fan voting began Tuesday and continues through Nov. 2 at ABC.com.
