Jim Nabor's Alabama 1 lb. ground beef
2 T. fat
1 t. salt
2 to 3 T. chili powder
1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (No. 2) can red kidney beans
1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
2 T. vinegar
½ t. garlic powder
1 large can tomatoes
Heat fat, then quickly brown meat, stirring with fork. Add remaining
ingredients, mix well, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for 30 to
45 minutes.
Serves 4.
