Home Fried Chicken Gizzards

1-1 1/2 lb  package of gizzards
2 tablespoons of butter
2 cups of croutons, crushed or flour
1 egg beaten
1 medium onion, chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Preheat a medium skillet with butter to a low heat. 
Dip the gizzards in the beaten eggs and then into croutons or flour, salt and 
pepper. 
Place the gizzards and onion in the skillet and brown. 

Serves 4
