Keith Urban Prepares Greatest Hits: 18 Kids

Keith Urban's upcoming greatest hits album will include two new recordings, 
including a remake of Steve Forbert's 1979 pop hit, "Romeo's Tune." Also 
announced
Tuesday (Oct. 23) was the title of the album -- Keith Urban Greatest Hits: 18 
Kids. "These songs are like my children," Urban explained. "That's what prompted
the 18 Kids subtitle." The other new recording is an expanded version of "Got 
It Right This Time" featuring a full band. The version on his latest album,
Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing, is a sparse arrangement featuring Urban 
playing keyboards. A special edition of Keith Urban Greatest Hits: 18 Kids
will include a DVD featuring 12 of Urban's music videos. Both versions of the 
CD will be released on Nov. 20.

Krauss, Aldean, Pickler Performing on CMA Awards

Alison Krauss, Jason Aldean and Kellie Pickler have been added to the list of 
performers at the 41st annual CMA Awards show on Nov. 7. Aldean and Pickler
are each nominated for this year's Horizon Award. Additionally, Sheryl Crow, 
Blake Shelton and Gretchen Wilson have been added to the list of artists 
presenting
awards during the ABC telecast from the Sommet Center in downtown Nashville. As 
previously announced, Sara Evans and LeAnn Rimes will host segments during
the show, and CMA officials say additional segment hosts will be announced soon.

Gary Allan, Carrie Underwood Offer New CDs

Gary Allan and Carrie Underwood are among the country artists releasing new CDs 
on Tuesday (Oct. 23). Allan's Living Hard (MCA) features his current single,
"Watching Airplanes." Underwood's Carnival Ride (19 Recordings/Arista) includes 
her current single, "So Small." Other new releases include Shooter Jennings'
The Wolf (Universal South), Tracy Lawrence's All Wrapped Up in Christmas (Rocky 
Comfort), Mountain Heart's Road That Never Ends (The Live Album) (Rural
Rhythm), Rissi Palmer's self-titled debut (1720), Robert Plant and Alison 
Krauss' Raising Sand (Rounder) and Dwight Yoakam's Dwight Sings Buck (New West).
In addition, nineteen albums from rockabilly and country singer Wanda Jackson 
were released digitally by EMI/Capitol Records.

CMT Announces New Series, Trick My Trucker

A new makeover series, Trick My Trucker, will debut on CMT on Nov. 10 at 9 p.m. 
ET/PT. From the producers of Trick My Truck, the new six-episode series
will give truckers a physical and emotional overhaul for cash, prizes and a 
roadmap to healthy living. The show will be hosted by Bob Guiney (The Bachelor)
and will feature celebrity stylist Harmonie Krieger and trainer Aaron Aguilera.
