Nutmeg Raisin Coffee Cake

3-1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1-1/2 c. milk
1 c. soft butter
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp nutmeg
1-1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
1 c. dark seedless raisins

Preheat oven to dg350. Into mixer bowl measure all ingredients except
raisins. Beat at low speed until just mixed. Increase speed to medium
and beat 3 minutes. Pour batter into a greased 10-inch tube pan.
Sprinkle raisins over top and stir evenly and carefully into batter.
Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack 10 minutes before
removing from pan.

Yield 10 to 12 servings.
