blonde brownies 1/2 cup butter, softened 3 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 lb. light brown sugar 1 1/2 c. flour 1 c. chopped pecans cream butter & sugar, adding eggs one at a time, & beat well. add flour & blend well. stir in vanilla & pecans. pour into greased 13 x 9 pan. bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. cool & cut into bars. submitted by ellen fullington, birmingham, al.
