Almost Fudge Brownies
                     
 1/3 cup reduced-calorie margarine
                                                       
         2 tablespoons fat-free sour cream
                           
1 cup SPLENDA Granular
                                                          
    2 eggs, or equivalent in egg substitute
                     
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
                                                      
        11/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
                     
 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 
 3/4 cup cake flourPreheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8-by-8-inch
cake pan
  with butter-flavored cooking spray In a large bowl, cream
mar­garine, sour
 cream, and SPLENDA using a sturdy spoon. Stir in eggs, applesauce and
vanilla 
 extract. Add cocoa and flour. Mix gen­ tly just to combine.
Carefully spread
 batter into prepared pan. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes. Place pan on a
wire rack
and let set for at least 10 minutes. Cut into 16 bars.
