Cherry and Oat Squares

1-1/4 c. old-fashioned quick oats
1/3 c. margarine, melted
1/4 c. sugar
1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 21-oz. can cherry pie filling

Combine oats, margarine and sugar. Press onto the bottom of an 8-inch
square pan. Bake at dg400 for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, with mixer at medium speed, combine cream cheese with sugar
until well blended. Blend in egg. Pour over baked crust. Bake at dg350
10-15 minutes, or until set. Spread pie filling over cream cheese
mixture and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes. Chill.
