SCOTTISH SCONES

1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1/2 cup milk

Topping:
1 tablespoon melted margarine or butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

In medium bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, salt, and
cinnamon. Blend using pastry blender or fork, cut in margarine until
mixture is crumbly. Add milk stirring until moistened. Form ball and
press into greased round pan. Brush top with melted butter. Sprinkle
with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Cut into 8 wedges bake at 375°F for
20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
