Ginger Cookies for a Crowd Recipe
1 1/2 cups
2 cups
1/2 cup
3 large
4 cups
1/2 cup
1/2 teaspoon
4 teaspoons
2 teaspoons
2 teaspoons
2 teaspoonsbutter, softened
granulated sugar
molasses
eggs
flour
molasses
salt
baking soda
cinnamon
ground cloves
ground ginger
 
Oven Temp: 350°
Cooking Time: 10 x 12 minutes
Pan Type: cookie sheet
 
Preheat Oven.
In a large mixing bowl beat the butter, sugar and molasses until creamy.
Add the eggs and beat well.
Add the flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and ground ginger,
mix well.
Roll dough into small balls, dip into sugar.
Place on un - greased cookie sheet.
Bake for the allotted time.
Do not over bake.
Cookies should be chewy.
Makes: 7.5 dozen
