Cream Cheese Clouds
Submitted by Connie
The holidays are fast approaching and soon most will be
making those special treats to serve guests and family. This is one
recipe that can be served in two different ways.
Ingredients:
16 oz. can buttermilk biscuits
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, cut into 12 cubes
1/2 stick butter, melted
Separate dough into 12 biscuits. Press each into 1/4-inch thickness.
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a dish. Dip cream cheese cubes in melted
butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar. Place 1 cream cheese cube in
center of each dough circle. Gather up sides of dough to enclose the
filling. Press edges of dough together to seal. Place seam sides up in
greased muffin pan. Drizzle with any remaining butter, sprinkle with
any remaining cinnamon sugar. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 minutes
or until golden brown.  Makes 12 clouds

NOTE: Make a savory snack by substituting 1 tsp. Italian seasoning and
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese for the cinnamon sugar.
