Golden Texas Sheet Cake 

  2 cups flour 
  2 cups sugar 
  1/2 teaspoons cinnamon 
  1/2 cup butter 
  1/2 cup vegetable oil 
  1 cup water 
  1/2 cup buttermilk 
  1 teaspoon baking soda 
  1 teaspoon vanilla 
  dash of salt 
  2 eggs, beaten 

  Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. In sauce pan bring butter, oil and 
water to a boil. Pour over dry ingredients and stir well. 
  Add baking soda to buttermilk, then add to mixture. 
  Add the eggs and vanilla, beating well. 
  Pour into a greased and floured 10x15 inch pan (jelly roll pan). 
  Bake at 400ยบ degrees for 15-20 minutes. (Check at 15 minute intervals as all 
ovens are different) 
  **For less fat in cake:  substitute 1/2 cup fat free yogurt for the oil and 
add 1/2 tsp baking powder. 

  FROSTING FOR GOLDEN SHEET CAKE

  1 1/2 cups sugar 
  6 Tbsps milk 
  6 Tbsps butter 
  1 Cup Chocolate chips
  1 Tsp. Vanilla
  Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil and let boil for 45 seconds. Stir in 1 
cup chocolate chips until they melt, then add 1 tsp vanilla, blending well. 
Make this frosting while cake is baking and let this cool a bit before pouring 
on cake.
