Sweet Tea from North Carolina
Bring 1 quart of water to boiling and set off burner.Add three family size tea bags and let simmer for five minutes. Put another quart of hot water with 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar in the pitcher and dissolve the sugar. After the tea sets for five minutes,pour the tea mixture over the sugar water and finish filling up the gallon pitcher the rest of the way up with cold water and stir.This makes a very good sweet tea, as this is what we like in North Carolina.
