Emmylou Harris and Patty Loveless are among the many musicians appearing on Jim Lauderdale and the Dream Players' upcoming album, Honey Songs. The country project will be released Feb. 19 on Yep Roc. Other guests include guitarist James Burton (who played with Elvis Presley), bassist Gary Tallent (E Street Band), pedal and lap steel player Al Perkins (Flying Burrito Brothers), pianist Glen D. Hardin (Merle Haggard) and drummer Ron Tutt (Elvis Presley, Elvis Costello). Buddy Miller and Kelly Hogan also provide backing vocals. Dixie Chicks' Martie Maguire Expecting Mon. She revealed the news to People magazine on the red carpet at a benefit for the Nobelity Project in Austin, Texas, on Sunday night (Jan. 27). The couple had twin daughters in April 2004. Other guests at the event, which was a fundraiser for the film One Peace at a Time, included Lance Armstrong, Willie Nelson and Owen Wilson, as well as Nobel Prize winner Steve Weinberg, a professor at the University of Texas. Blake Shelton Covers Michael Bublé's "Home" Mon. January 28.2008 3:07 PM EST Blake Shelton will digitally release his version of Michael Bublé's song, "Home," on Feb. 5. The song will be attached to a re-released version of Shelton's current album, Pure BS, which was originally issued on May 1. Miranda Lambert also sings on the track. Shelton led a choir singing a song called "Home" on NBC's Clash of the Choirs in December, but that song was originally recorded by Marc Broussard. Other singles on Pure BS include "Don't Make Me" and "The More I Drink."
