You wanted old fashion bread pudding

well this is from back in the pre-civil war days. My grand ma

got it from her grand ma Hanna

BREAD PUDDING ( What Granmaw called biscuit pudding. Back when

I was a kid if you got( light bread )you sure didn't let it get

stale.

This is what I would use.

2 packed Cups crumbled up bread (you can use regular bread but

French is better)

½ Cup white sugar

2 Cups cream (the thicker the better)

2 Tbl sp real butter

4 whole lg. eggs

¼ tea cinnamon

½ tea vanilla extract

1 Cup dry raisins Or( craisins not oldfashion

½ Cup chopped pecans(toasted)

Melt your butter just enough to pour.

Break up the eggs

Mix every thing together and pour over your bread in your baking

dish then Bake at 350% for 35 or 40 min.(note a little rum flavor

won't hurt a bit)
