The Eagles Join Stagecoach Festival Fri. February 15.2008 2:42 PM EST The Eagles will headline the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, Calif., on May 2 -- a just-added extension of the original two-day lineup. Additional performers slated for May 2 include Glen Campbell, John Fogerty, Shelby Lynne, Trisha Yearwood, Shooter Jennings, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Rissi Palmer and Chuck Wicks. Now scheduled for May 2-4, the festival will feature more than 50 country artists, including Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, as well as the Judds.
Dolly Parton Reveals New Tour Dates Fri. February 15.2008 2:42 PM EST Dolly Parton has announced new tour dates for the spring after postponing several concerts earlier in the month due to back pain. She'll launch the tour on April 22 in Pittsburgh and conclude May 11 in Dallas. In June, she'll start her European tour in Sweden. Parton's appearance at the South by Southwest (SXSW) music conference on March 14 in Austin, Texas, remains on her itinerary. She will release a new album, Backwoods Barbie, on Feb. 26. CMT Opens Store in Nashville Airport Fri. February 15.2008 2:42 PM EST CMT has partnered with Hudson Group, an award-winning travel retailer, for the network's first retail store, CMT Loot, at Nashville International Airport (BNA). Located in Concourse C, the store will sell a line of authentic CMT apparel, CDs, DVDs and other memorabilia. A 103-inch HD television will display the latest CMT music and original programming as customers enter the store.
