Country Cabins Stonewall, Texas Specialty Recipe Hummingbird Cake Ingredients 3 cups flour 2 cups sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1-1/2 cups oil 1 teaspoon butter flavoring 1 teaspoon cinnamon 3 eggs 8 ounces crushed pineapple or applesauce 3 bananas, mashed 2/3 cup chopped pecans (optional) Mix all ingredient except bananas (and nuts) together by hand in a large bowl. Add mashed bananas (and nuts) and stir again by hand. Bake in greased and floured bundt pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Let cool 1 hour before removing from pan.
