Mississippi Mud Cake

 

2 sticks

1-1/2 C. Flour

2 C. Sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1/3 C. Cocoa

1 tsp Baking Powder

4 Eggs

1 C. Nuts

1 (7oz) jar marshmallow Cream

 

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, beating well

after each addition. Combine cocoa, flour, salt and baking

powder. Mix into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Pour into a 9 x

13 - inch pan.

Bake at 250 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes (OR 350 degrees for 35

minutes)

Remove from oven and spread with marshmallow  cream. Cool cake,

then frost.

 

Frosting:

1 stick soft margarine

1 Box Confectioners  (10X)Sugar

1/3 C. Cocoa

1 tsp Vanilla

5 to 7 Tbsp Evaporated Milk

 

Mix all ingredients well and spread over top of cake.
