2 Step Chili Topped Potatoes
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 cup picante sauce
4 hot baked potatoes, split
Shredded Cheddar cheese
In skillet, combine beef & chili powder.
Cook until browned. Add picante sauce, heat through.
Serve over potatoes. Top with cheese.
Makes 4 servings.
To bake potatoes, pierce potatoes with fork. Bake at 400 for 1 hour, or
microwave for 12 to 16 minutes.


2 Step Garlic Pork Chops
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 pork chops
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
In skillet, heat oil.
Add chops & garlic, cook until browned.
Add soup & milk, heat to a boil.
Cover. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
Makes 4 servings.


2 Step Italian Burger Melt
1 & 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 (10.75 ounce) can tomato soup
1/3 cup water
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 400.
Shape beef into six, 1/2 inch patties.
Place into 2 quart baking dish.
In bowl, combine soup, water & oregano.
Pour over patties. Top with cheese.
Bake for 20 minutes. Serve on rolls or over pasta.
Makes 6 servings.

2 Step Italian Style Chicken
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 to 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/3 cup water
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 cup chopped plum tomatoes
1 tablespoon butter
In skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Add chicken, cook for 10 minutes, or until well browned on both sides.
Remove chicken, set aside.
Stir in soup, water, parsley, basil & tomatoes.
Heat to a boil.
Return chicken to skillet.
Reduce heat to low.
Cover. Cook for 5 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
Remove chicken to serving platter.
Add butter to sauce mixture,
stir until butter melts.
Serve sauce with chicken.
Makes 4 servings.
TIP:
Internal temperature of chicken should reach 160°F.


barbecue pork chops
8 or more pork chopps
1/2 c. ketchup
1/4 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 pack onion soup mix
line an oblong pan with aluminum foil.
salt & pepper pork chops& place in pan.
combine all ingredients & brush on each chop.
cover the pan with foil & cook on 325 for 1 1/2 hours.
also great on chicken.

Double-Dipped Strawberries
Ingredients:
10 medium strawberries (about 1 pt.), washed, well dried
4 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted
8 OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, coarsely crushed (about 1 cup crumbs)
Preparation:
Dip strawberries into melted chocolate; roll in cookie crumbs.
Place on wax paper-lined baking sheet; let stand until chocolate sets.
Store in refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Nutrition Bonus:
This chocolatey sweet treat provides vitamin C from the strawberries.
