COCA COLA CAKE
2 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. oil
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. coca cola
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
In saucepan, bring to boil oil, butter, cocoa and coca cola. Sift
together flour, sugar and soda. Combine with oil mixture. Add remaining
ingredients. Mix well. Bake in 9x13 inch pan, greased and floured, on 350
degree (preheated oven) for 45 minutes or until done.
ICING:
1 stick butter
6 tbsp. coca cola (or 1/3 c.)
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 box confectioners' sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
2 tsp. vanilla
Bring butter, cocoa and coca cola to boil. Remove from heat. Add sugar,
vanilla and nuts. Pour over warm cake.
