HOT DOG SAUCE (4TH OF JULY)
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. lemon juice or vinegar
1 lg. chopped onion
1/4 green pepper, chopped
3 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. oil
1 lg. can tomato sauce
1 c. catsup or chili sauce
4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. hot sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. mustard seed
Saute onion, green pepper and beef until color changes; add remaining
ingredients. Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour in 3-quart electric saucepan.
