Well we got back from Iowa City. Ashlee had a rough start but we got through
it. She now has her braces on top 4 teeth for now ( Aug. 15th we go back and
get them on her 2 other teeth that are still coming in) She has her bottom
expander in She takes it out to eat and to clean it, rest of the time its in
her mouth to take care of her under bite. The orthodontic said that after this
Phase is done she may or may not need the "actual" braces on her teeth. This is
to help move her teeth and her jaw into place, so she won't have to have jaw
surgery like most Clefties have to have. She has some getting used to with all
this in her mouth, so lots of prayers for her to be strong and patient. We hope
that by the time school starts next month she will be comfortable with them.
Hope everyone is having a great day,, hot and humid here, tomorrow suppose
to be 92 !! Hottest its been here. Flood waters are gone, now we're in for heat
waves!
