Morning ya'll, I was having problems with my virus protection, for days it kept telling me I was not protected, I could not figure out why. My subscription is good till next year. It was really tickin me off. My computer wouldn't stay online for me long enough to check updates. Finally I was able too get all my updates done. Now I'm all covered and no problems staying online. These darn machines!! We been having more rain and storms here over the weekend and early yesterday morning. A lot of rain. 4 inches total in my gauge. I sat the pool up for Ashlee and its been rainy every since it seems like! Ashlee is doing great with her braces, and expander, she does great at keeping them both brushed. I don't know why, but she has this huge appetite since she has had them on. The girl eats all day now. Course she allowed just certain foods and she knows what she can and can't have. She has ate more in these last couple of weeks than she ever has. Still skinny as a rail, but getting taller.! She's doing great and that's what counts. They have not bothered her a bit now, the first couple days she hurt but now she's fine. Ashlee and I spent Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon at our so called County Fair. I was not a great one. They had blow up for the kids to jump on or slide on. Everything was 3 bucks each, not worth it. One of the guys at the ticket booth, give Ashlee and her friends a wrist band to ride for free. I took her over cause she loves the 4H. We watch the horse shows, and she spent lots of time in the barns with all the animals, that's all she goes for. She met up with some of her friends so I parked myself at a picnic table. The weather wasn't too bad during the day, but at night they got rained on pretty good. We have RAGBRAI coming thur our town today. They are bicyclists biking across Iowa. Jefferson was their overnight stay last night, Boone is a stop over for them today on their way to Ames where they will pitch tent and stay the night. The City is closing one of our main roads today for them,, not happy about the closing, but what can ya do. The paper said our food fenders will be set up town for them today, umm they may make more money today then their weekend at the Fair! lol They have been caught in some nasty storms. I haven't heard of any injuries yet. One year a man was killed on the route. He was hit by a car. Lets hope they all get back to where they all come from. There are a lot that are from out of State that come over here to ride across Iowa. Not me! I was a host for a team back in the late 90's when Boone was their overnite stay. My stepbrother at the time had a team he was riding with. They all camped out in our yard it was a fun time. I Don't think he has rode anymore since then. well all the happy here, hope ya'll are doing great as well. Hugs, Janet
