FLORENTINE CRESCENTS   

      3 crisply cooked bacon slices (crumbled)
      1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped spinach (thawed and well drained)
      1/2 lb. Velveeta (cubed)
      1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
      2 (8 oz.) cans Pillsbury refrigerated Quick Crescent Dinner Rolls

      Combine spinach, Velveeta, bread crumbs, and bacon in a 1 1/2-quart 
microwave safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes or until cheese 
spread is melted, stirring every 1 1/2 minutes. Unroll dough and separate into 
16 triangles. Cut each in half lengthwise, forming 32 triangles. 
      Spread each triangle with rounded teaspoonful of spinach mixture. Roll up 
starting at wide end. Place on greased cookie sheet. Brush dough with beaten 
egg if desired. Bake at 375 degrees for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown.
