PECAN PIE CAKE   

      Combine:

      1 box yellow cake mix
      1 egg
      1/4 cup oil

      Mix well. Press into a 13x9x2 inch pan (pressing well). 
      Bake at 325°F for 20 minutes.


      In another bowl, mix:

      1 cup dark Karo Syrup
      1 cup sugar
      2 cups chopped pecans
      4 eggs
      1 tsp. vanilla
      1/4 cup melted butter

      Pour over crust. Bake for 45 minutes at 325°F.  Enjoy.
