Brownie Bourbon Bites 
- 
Makes:  about 2 dz 
- 
1/2 cup butter, softened 
1/2 cup packed brown sugar 
1/3 cup Bourbon 
1 cup all-purpose flour 
3 Tbsp cocoa 
1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips 
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans 
- 
Low Down:  Use a sugar substitute, such as SPLENDA brown 
sugar & a butter substitute, such as Smat Balance.

In a sm bowl, cream butter & sugar until light & fluffy, 
(abt 5 min). 
Beat in Bourbon. combine flour & cocoa; gradually add to 
creamed mix,beating until smooth. Stir in choco chips. 
Cover; refrigerate for 1-2 hr. Shape in 1 " balls; roll 
in pecans. Place 2 " apart on ungreased baking sheets. 
Bake at 350 ° for 5 min or until dough is shiny. Cool 
for 5 min before carefully removing to a wire rack to cool 
completely. 
Store in an airtight container.

Prep Note:  Were it up to me, I*d make _at least_ a DOUBLE 
batch of these -- to allow for various *cook*s samplings* 
as the process goes forth in order to have SOME left at the 
end to share.
