Strawberry Jam Cake
2 cups white sugar 2 cups strawberry jam 1 cup Crisco 1 cup raisins 1 tsp. ground cloves 1 cup pecans or walnuts 1 tsp cinnamon 3 tsp baking soda 1 tsp nutmeg 4 cups flour 2 cups buttermilk 4 eggs, beaten Mix as written down, adding the eggs last. Grease pans well. Bake @ 350°degrees for 1 1/2 hrs. This may be baked in a tube or angel food pan or mini loaf pans. about 25 min for min loaf pans.
