Crockpot Basic Kielbasa & Sauerkraut Ingredients 1 can (Jar or bag) sauerkraut 1 tsp. caraway seeds 1 pkg. kielbasa or smoked sausage (about 1 to 2 lb.) 1/2 cup water. Directions Drain sauerkraut, add to crockpot. sprinkle with caraway seeds, add water. Cut kielbasa into 3" pieces, place on top of Sauerkraut mixture. Cover crockpot and cook on Low setting about 8 hours.
