PINEAPPLE SQUARES 
3 cups flour
1 cup butter
3 egg yolks
2/3 cup warm milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 packet dry yeast
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cans pineapple pie filling
Powered sugar
Cut butter into flour as for pie dough until pea size crumbs.
Dissolve yeast in warm milk then add sugar, vanilla and egg yolks.
Add to flour mixture and mix well.
Knead into a soft smooth dough adding more flour if needed.
Divide into 2 pieces then roll each piece into rectangle.
Place a pie of rolled dough in pan then add pie filling.
Add top crust and carefully seal edges then let rise 1 hour.
Bake at 350 for 35 minutes then cool to room temperature.
Cut into square when cold then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
