Apple Butter Nut Cake
Ingredients
1 cup     finely chopped nuts 
2 tbsp.  brown sugar 
2 tsp.    cinnamon 
1 pkg.    yellow cake mix 
1 cup     each finely chopped nuts, dairy sour cream
1 cup     apple, (1 medium) peeled and finely chopped 
1/3 cup       apple butter
4            eggs 
2 - 3 tbsp    apple butter 
Directions
       Heat oven to 350º F. (175º C), 325º F. [165º
C] using a colored fluted pan.) Using solid shortening or margarine (not
oil), grease and flour a 12-cup fluted non-stick tube pan.  In a small
bowl, combine nuts, sugar and cinnamon.  In a large bowl, blend all
but sugar and apple butter, and beat 12 minutes at highest speed. 
Pour 3 cups batter into prepared pan.  Sprinkle with half of nut
mixture.  Repeat, ending with batter.  Bake at 350º F. 50 - 55
minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.  Cool
upright in pan 15 minutes; turn onto serving plate.  Cool
completely.  In small bowl, blend remaining ingredients until smooth;
spoon over cake.  Makes a 10" ring cake.
