FUDGE-TOPPED BROWNIES
1 c. butter, melted
2 c. sugar
1 c. unsifted flour
2/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
3 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. shelled California walnuts, chopped
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine butter, sugar, flour, cocoa, 
baking
powder, eggs, milk and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla; beat well. Stir in walnuts.
Spread in greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake 40 minutes or until brownies begin 
to
pull away from sides of pan. Just before brownies are done, in heavy saucepan, 
melt
chips with sweetened condensed milk and remaining vanilla. Immediately spread 
over
hot brownies. Cool; chill. Cut into bars. Makes 36-40 brownies.
