Creole Vegetables

Serves 6.

1  medium onion, chopped
3 green onions, chopped
2 stalks celery,  chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup butter
1 lb. okra,  sliced
3 ears fresh corn, kernels cut off the cob
1 (28-oz.) can Ro-tel  tomatoes, undrained
1 tsp. cracked black pepper

1. Sauté onions,  celery and bell pepper in butter over medium heat on top 
of 
stove.

2.  Put okra and corn and Ro-tel tomatoes into slow cooker. Sprinkle black  
pepper over all and add in sautéed vegetables.

3. Cook on Low for 4  to 6 hours.
