I went to the store today and I found a bag of frozen Crowder peas,, anyone had these frozen before? I used to have field,, purple hull, and crowder peas fresh when I lived in LA. but up here in Yankee Country they have never heard of such. That's why was surprised to see them in the freezer at HyVee. Its the VIP brand. I am gonna try them, see how they taste. I still have some andouille sausage I will put with them.
