Transparent Pie
1 stick of butter 2 cups sugar 4 eggs, beaten 3 Tbs. flour 1 cup evaporated milk 1-2 (to taste) tsp. vanilla 1- 9" unbaked pie crust or 16 tart shells Melt the butter in a heavy pan. Add the sugar, eggs, flour and stir well. Whisk in the milk and cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture thickens. Add the vanilla and pour into pie crust. Bake 325 for 40 minutes.
