Hi Lance,
Welcome to the list, we're glad to have you join us!
It's great to have people with enthusiasm who are committed to justice
for Aboriginal Australians
and we look forward to your contribution - whether in discussions,
lobbying or protests.
Your concern about the best way to fight for Indigenous rights is
understandable - none of us
want to encroach on Indigenous prerogatives and where possible we find
out the most acceptable
way to go. Mistakes are made occasionally, I'm sure, but as long as we
keep talking with each
other - Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal - we will continue to learn about
each other. So long as we
don't let fear of taking a wrong step paralyse our efforts.
