I don't know how many of you saw Australian Story on the ABC
last night, but it amounted to a P-----e H----n benefit night.
Talking about the ABC being taken over by the Right---my
daughter did a week's work experience on Australian Story.
She was asked to submit the names of people who would possibly
make good subjects for the programme.
She named an Aboriginal person in the news at that time and
was told that Aborigines didn't rate. She named a political figure to the left
of centre and was told that they did not do politicians.
In the week she was there they did a story on a Farming family
who were complaining about Native Title amongst a litany of other
complaints.
They were also preparing a story on Tim Costello at the
time---not a politician ,but close to the bone.
Surely they are not going to claim that P.H. is not a
politician.
What they did last night breathed life back into Ein Reich,
and on the eve of the N.S.W. election where David Oldfield is trying to gain
election to the Upper House.
Yes, Howard needs O.N. to keep the political agenda in
Australia firmly ti the Right, and his ever increasing number of dogsbodies at
the ABC are only too willing to do his bidding.
