Hi everyone,

We had hoped that Green Net would have archiving facilities but as it
happened, they didn't.
Marg Hutton has a found an easy-to-use, free archive (very necessary for

computer illiterate me) and it looks good.
There are several things that will have to be done -

1. I will have to run all the past messages posted to recoznet2 through
the list so that they will also be archived. These messages will be
forwarded and easy to recognise for your 'delete' key. I will run them
through at 10 per day so that I don't overload anyone's mailbox.

2. There will be occasions when someone doesn't want to have their
posting archived. In this case, it will be necessary for this to be used

in the first part of the subject line:
Restrict: no-external-archive or X-No-Archive: yes
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This is very important since it will not be possible to remove a message

once it is in the archive!!
So be very careful when you post.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

3. The archive has a search facility and anyone wanting to read an
archived message can go to this site: http://www.mail-archive.com/
and do a search.
4. If anyone wants to retrieve an old message and doesn't have www
facilities, just let me know and I will retrieve it for you.

Trudy
