SMH Column 8 Date: 23/03/99 SYDNEY lost one of its institutions yesterday. Sid "Doc" Cunningham, known as the Black Santa for his efforts over more than two decades to collect Christmas gifts for underprivileged Aboriginal children, died in Balmain Hospital after a long illness.
