East Timor is divided into two major hunks - the eastern part, containing Dili and most of the places that we have seen and heard about so often in the news in recent weeks, and a western part around Okussi, separate from the eastern section and bounded on three sides by West Timor and on the forth by the Savu Sea. (There are also two other smallish islands) Does anyone know what has been happening in the western enclave of East Timor? I presume it was also covered by the Independence ballot. Are the UN forces going there too? Do we have any information abnout the situation on the ground there? I have serached around the WWW for information about this, but it is almost as if this particular area has benn "forgotten" by everyone. Any one on the list know any more about it?
