Hi Tamim,

You did not copy the error, but the summary.

There should be an other Error above it.

On Which Operating System do you build?

If you do not have the output anymore try:

> build --prepare --from writerfilter

then

> build -- from writerfilter

With luck you run into the same error, if your luck is not so good, you get stuck at another Position.

The build system is not easy to use.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your response. The build is completed with one error.
"
1 module(s):
writerfilter
need(s) to be rebuilt

Reason(s):

ERROR: error 65280 occurred while making /home/tamim/OpenOffice/aoo/main/writerfilter/prj

When you have fixed the errors in that module you can resume the build by running:

build --from writerfilter
"

May I know how I find and fix that error?

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Tamim

    Hi Tamin,

    Welcome to the Community.

First step for development is getting familiar with building
    OpenOffice.

We have guides that are more or less acurate.

The building of open office is not easy thing to do. So that is
    your first challenge :).

If you have question try to adress them on
[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> or on
recruitment if you feel not comfortable with the other list.

We will try to help you. Please bring patience and a little
    stuborness.

    All the best

        Hi Everyone,

My name is Tamim. I have completed my B.Sc. in Computer

I am looking forward to contributing to OpenOffice. Please let

would I get started, whether it is by taking the "New Volunteer
        Orientation" module or something else.

        Thank you very much.
