I hope you are aware that LibreOffice (LO) have little to do with Apache
OpenOffice (AOO).
Working on LO will not develop AOO.
But it depends on what you want to do. It is your choice.
But think on more then just writing code. Think on how is a project
organized, what License does the Project use, and what Licensebase it is
build on.
How the Community is structured. And then pick a choice. I wish you good
luck with whatever you do.

As I was reading on the website, the first thing you do is try to build
libere office. After that you look for a bug to correct. At these time
looking for some error to fix in a list.

Hello,
I am Taiwanese and live in Taiwan.
I would like to contribute to OpenOffice.
My first language is Chinese, and I am also good at reading in
English.
I have five years experience on C&C++. Mostly I wrote C++ project on
embedded Linux environment.
This is the first time I join mail list so I don't know where to get

Thanks
